As the result of an Executive Order issued in January, USCIS will now require noncitizen immigrants to undergo a new “alien registration” process.
All foreign nationals who are age 14 or older who were not registered and fingerprinted when applying for a U.S. visa and who remain in the United States for 30 days or longer, must apply for registration and fingerprinting. Reaching age 14 means getting fingerprints within 30 days.
For more information on this process, see the USCIS policy update here: https://www.uscis.gov/alienregistration
