Experience

Christina Wallace brings over 27 years of experience to the practice of immigration law. Her concentration in business immigration entails solving complex immigration problems for business clients ranging from Fortune 500 to smaller companies, covering industries such as IT, financial services, construction, engineering, critical infrastructure, multi-media production and more. Ms. Wallace strategizes multinational transfer issues and sets up new businesses on US soil. Her firm, Lang Wallace, also oversees family immigration matters around the globe.

Ms. Wallace's team at Lang Wallace works with all levels of the US government to achieve success – filing petitions with USCIS, US DOL, the consulates, and congressional offices. Business set-up, expansion and investor funding often join discussions about global relocation and communications are tailored to clarify information for company executives, HR professionals, General Counsel and the employees themselves.

Additionally, Ms. Wallace and team advise corporations on how to choose immigration counsel as a matter of market analysis, i.e., what to request in an immigration RFP, or how to identify tangent corporate and employment matters. She has also helped four countries shape their laws (immigration, banking, criminal). She works until she achieves a positive result.

She has presented immigration-related seminars to HR professionals on employment eligibility verification (E-verify), related payroll issues, and proper I-9 records. She has spoken at employment seminars, the NFIB, global relocation companies, to executives and to in-house employment counsel. For several years, Christy taught a course as an adjunct professor to HR Managers on Immigration Laws in Recruiting at the Northern Virginia Community College as part of its PHR-certified curriculum. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers’ Association (AILA).
